*Please do not make any payment before you receive the confirmation of participation from BINUS University.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be an active undergraduate or master’s student of any majors from overseas higher education institutions. BINUS students from @Bandung, @Semarang, or @Malang campus are eligible to apply.
  • Has good command of the English language
  • Be highly motivated and open-minded
  • Has sufficient knowledge of design-thinking
  • Has great interest in social innovation projects

PROGRAM FEES

USD 800 per person.
Applicants from BINUS’ partner institutions will get 10% discount of program fee (please contact Ms. Debby dlubis@binus.edu to check if your institution is in partnership with BINUS University).

What inclusive:

  • A design thinking recap
  • Visits to micro- and small-sized enterprises
  • A shared standard room and breakfasts during the program
  • Partial lunches and dinners
  • Local airport transfers
  • Cultural trips
  • Roundtrip flight from Denpasar (Bali) to Labuan Bajo, and from Labuan Bajo to Denpasar (Bali)
  • a shared standard room two nights in Bali (one night before departure to Labuan Bajo, one night after arrival from Labuan Bajo)

Notes:

  • Information about how to make the payment will be sent to successful applicants along with the Letter of Offer.
  • Successful applicants must arrange and pay for their return flights from their home country to Denpasar (Bali) and vice versa.

HOW TO APPLY

Prepare the following documents (only pdf files are accepted) and complete the Registration Form (https://linktr.ee/icdp2024):

  • Scan copy of English proficiency certificate. A letter from the home university stating that the applicant has a good command of the English language, or the applicant is taking English-taught courses at the home university, is acceptable.
  • Scan copy of Student ID card
  • Scan copy of colored passport (cover only)
  • Scan copy of colored passport (identity information page only)
  • Color photo (not less than 100 KB)

ELIGIBILITY
I am an active BINUS student. Can I apply? Yes, if you are from BINUS @Bandung, @Semarang, or @Malang campus.

No, if you are from BINUS @Alam Sutera, @Kemanggisan, @Bekasi, or @Senayan.

I am an Indonesian student from an Indonesian university. Can I apply? No.
I am an Indonesian student from a non-Indonesian higher education institution. Can I apply? Yes.
I am a non-Indonesian student from an Indonesian higher education institution. Can I apply? No.
 FEES
I am a student from a non-Indonesian higher education institution. I am selected as one of the participants. Should I pay the program fees? Yes. If you receive the invoice, please make the payment by July 12, 2024, at the latest.

Please note that you also must arrange and pay for your own transportation from your home country to Denpasar, Bali, and return.

 

The program fees include a shared-room standard room for 11 (eleven) nights. The check-in date is August 12, 2024. The check-out date is August 23, 2024. If you stay before August 12 or after August 23, you must pay the cost at your own expense.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY EVIDENCE
I do not have any TOEFL/IELTS/PET/DET certificates. Can I submit another certificate? Yes.

  • A letter from the home university stating that the applicant has a good command of the English language, or the applicant is taking English-taught courses at the home university, is acceptable.
  • An English course/training certificate that states the score or level of English language proficiency is acceptable.
CERTIFICATE
Upon completion, wil I receive any recognition of my participation in the program? Yes, you will receive a certificate of competion.
