General Academic Information
Below, you will find several general information about your studies. Should you need to find detailed information related to your studies, please refer to your Faculty.
Retake Failed Courses
Students can retake failed courses in two ways:
- Enrolling in the Short Semester:
A Short Semester (SP) is a semester between the Even Semester and the Odd Semester (July-September). Short-semester courses are intended for students who want to improve their grades or retake failed courses.
To complete the study plan registration, students must:
- Attend a briefing held by the Student Services Center, which will be conducted online via the Zoom application. The briefing schedule can be found on https://binusmaya.binus.ac.id in the News Stream menu.
- You can check beforehand whether any courses from the previous semester still need to be repeated by going to https://binusmaya.binus.ac.id, selecting Learning, and selecting Curriculum.
- Plan the courses to be taken in the upcoming semester.
- You can read the instructions and learn to fill out KRSS/KRS at https://binusmaya.binus.ac.id. Go to the Support menu, select Download Center, and select the Registration category.
- Enroll in courses according to the filling instructions, paying attention to the registration schedule according to the major.
- Pay attention to the maximum number of credits that can be taken and the classes offered.
- Pay BP3, Re-registration Fee, and SKS Fee. If the tuition fee payment is late, KRS will fill in the last schedule, which will be an academic sanction.
- Instructions for filling out KRSS and KRS are provided separately from this Student Guide and are given according to the KRSS and KRS filling time for each program. </aside>
