BINUS UNIVERSITY Wraps Up Informative Socialization Series of IISMA 2024
Jakarta, 2 March – To empower students with global opportunities, BINUS University successfully concluded a series of socialization events for the prestigious Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program. The series aimed to provide comprehensive insights and guidance for aspiring candidates interested in participating in IISMA 2024.
The socialization events unfolded as follows:
- BINUS X IISMA Info Session 2024 for Faculties/Schools (Wednesday, 17 January 2024)
- BINUS X IISMA 2024 Info Session: “How to Apply IISMA 2024” (Wednesday, 24 January 2024)
- BINUS X IISMA 2024 Sharing Session: “Be Prepared For the Future with IISMA-Alumni Club!” (Saturday, 27 January 2024)
- BINUS X IISMA 2024 Workshop: “Crafting Your IISMA Personal Statement” (Tuesday, 30 January 2024)
- BINUS X IISMA 2024 Talkshow: “How to Ace Your IISMA Interview” (Friday, 1 March 2024)
IISMA, a flagship program of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, stands as a prestigious international mobility scholarship for undergraduate and vocational students. The program is funded by Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education Agency (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan – LPDP) and offers students the unique opportunity to spend a semester at renowned institutions worldwide.
Since its inception in 2021, BINUS University has proudly sent more than 80 students to partake in this esteemed program, enriching their academic and cultural experiences globally. BINUS University believes in the transformative power of international education, and IISMA provides a gateway for students to become global citizens. This series of socialization events aimed to guide and inspire potential candidates, ensuring they are well-prepared to embark on this extraordinary journey.
