BINUS UNIVERSITY Wins 4 Awards at the Diktiristek Award 2023
Jakarta, 14 December 2023 – BINUS University brought four prestigious awards at the 2023 Diktiristek (The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology) Award across the following categories:
- Gold Winner – Cooperation Award in the Private University Category for Best International Cooperation.
- Gold Winner – Cooperation Award in the Private University Category for Best Collaboration with Government and NGOs.
- Bronze Winner – Prof. Bens Pardamean, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., received the Research, Technology, and Community Service Award in the Outstanding Lecturer Category for individuals over 40 years of age, boasting the highest SINTA Score during the 2020-2022 period.
- Best – Learning and Student Affairs Award in the Independent Campus Category for Best Organizing of Higher Education.
“This recognition is dedicated to all Binusians, particularly our students. Our aim is to provide students with the best learning experiences. This achievement is a testament to our commitment in nurturing collaborations, which I believe significantly enhance the student learning journey,” said Dr. Nelly, S. Kom., M.M., CSCA, the Rector of BINUS University.
Accompanying the Rector were Prof. Dr. Engkos Achmad Kuncoro, S.E, M.M., Vice-Rector for Academic Development; Johan, S.Kom., M.M., CDMS, Vice-Rector for Global Employability & Entrepreneurship; and Dr. Ratna Sari, S.Kom., M.MSI, Manager of the BINUS Career Center (BCC), all present to celebrate this momentous evening.
Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC, Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN.Eng., the Acting Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, highlighted the acceleration of the transformation in higher education over the past four years, indicating visible results.
“Through the Merdeka Belajar program, we’ve witnessed a closer bond between industry and academia, in addition to sustained efforts to foster collaboration among education, research, and the community,” he emphasized.
During the 2023 Diktiristek Award ceremony, nearly 500 awards spanning ten sub-categories were given to state universities, private universities, Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti), university partners, industries, government ministries, and journalists, including the Cooperation Award, Journalist and Media Award, Program Supporting Collaboration Partner Award, and several other prestigious accolades.
