Strengthening Inter-University Collaboration & Exchange of Best Practices at the 4th Bench marking Study

Jakarta, 6 December 2023 – The fourth instalment of the Benchmarking Study has returned, this time hosted at BINUS @Alam Sutera, with the goal of strengthening collaboration and sharing best practices among participating institutions.

Among those present were the Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia, Institut Informatika dan Bisnis Darmajaya, Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (i3L), Politeknik Caltex Riau, Universitas Sanata Dharma, Universitas Logistik & Bisnis Internasional, Universitas Negeri Semarang (Graduate School), Universitas Widyatama, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, and Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kendari. Their aim was to deepen their understanding of the Tridharma of Higher Education and explore innovations that could have a positive impact on society.

 

The participants’ enthusiasm was evident as they engaged in lively discussions, exchanging ideas on the best implementation practices for the Tridharma of Higher Education and ways to elevate university standards.

“Thank you for the warm welcome – especially the colleagues from BINUS Business School who shared the insights with us,” said one of the participants from the Faculty of Economics of Universitas Sanata Dharma.

This recurring initiative by the Office of the Vice-Rector Collaboration & Global Engagement embodies the university’s vision of nurturing and empowering communities to contribute to the nation’s global development and service. Additionally, participants utilized this platform for networking and establishing collaborations, fostering innovations, and progress within the academic realm.

“Organizing the Benchmarking Study, which has become our routine agenda, is also a form of BINUS University’s vision, commitment and efforts in developing and empowering the community, creating impacts and producing useful solutions,” said Dr. Nelly S.Kom., M.M., CSCA, Rector BINUS University.

The presence of Vice-Rector Collaboration and Global Engagement, Prof. Dr Tirta Nugraha Mursitama, PhD, and Irma Irawati Ibrahim, SS., M.Kom., Deputy Campus Director – Operations & Student Development – BINUS @Alam Sutera Campus, underscored the importance of the fourth Habungan Study Exchange as a tangible testament to collaborative efforts among universities.

This signifies a crucial step toward advancing innovations and standards in higher education. Through the exchange of best practices, this event not only deepened understanding of the Tridharma of Higher Education but also propelled collective advancements in academia, ultimately making an impact on society.
