Exploring Boundless Possibilities: A Global Collaboration at BINUS BASE

Jakarta, 24th June 2023 – From June 22nd to June 24th, 2023, BINUS ASO School of Engineering (BASE) had the honor of hosting students and lecturers from the University of Twente (UT), Netherlands, for an immersive experience that showcased the essence of BINUS BASE.

This unique program aimed to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, and explore the untapped potential of local talents in a global market.

The program started with an enlightening campus tour, allowing the guests from UT to witness the vibrant atmosphere of BINUS BASE and have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders in Indonesia.

This immersive experience allowed participants to understand better the local market and its potential for product designers in the global arena where they visited Vivere headquarter – an Indonesian local furniture and lifestyle brand, and Ramahija – a social enterprise empowering indigenous communities in Timor Island to learn valuable insights into real-world scenarios and showcased the impact of Indonesian culture and art.

The program served as a platform to build bridges between BINUS BASE and UT, promoting international collaboration and paving the way for future endeavors as well as shaping the future of education, design, and global partnerships
