Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) aims to promote a 3P (Peace, People, Prosperity) community—the core strategy of the New Southern Policy that fosters ASEAN trade experts who can promote the development of ASEAN-Korea relations and contribute to mutual prosperity.
COVERAGE
- Registration and tuition fee at Keimyung University, South Korea. Please be informed that payment regulation (BP3 and SKS) at BINUS still applies.
- All expenses of the Dormitory (General Hall) and meal plan
- Monthly stipend and other miscellaneous Expenses (specific amount and contents will be confirmed later)
- Free Regular Korean Language Course (from basic to intermediate, 10 weeks)
- Free Field Trips, including cultural experience, company visits, and other programs with AIMS participants (Korean & International Students)
- Customized buddy and group study
- Other support during stay in South Korea
REQUIREMENTS
- be as an active student at BINUS University during application and during AIMS program;
- be eligible to undertake study abroad program for Spring 2023 (Even Semester 2022/2023);
- major in business-related program/study program;
- have GPA 3,5 and above;
- be able to present a valid English language proficiency test certificate, at least TOEFL ITP, with a minimum score of 550;
- be nominated by BINUS University (nomination letter will be issued by BINUS International Office for eligible and selected applicants only).
Note: Please consult with your Head/Deputy Head of Program (Kajur/Sekjur) or Enrichment Program Coordinator to see if you are eligible to take Enrichment Program “Study Abroad” track in Even Semester 2022/2023.
HOW TO APPLY
Application Deadline: 11 November 2022
Step 1
Prepare all required documents:
- Complete AIMS Application Form (v1-221101) (electronic signatures are acceptable);
- Copy of academic transcript (score statement downloaded from BinusMaya is acceptable);
- Copy of English language proficiency test certificate (TOEFL ITP, TOEFL iBT, TOEFL CBT, or IELTS is acceptable. BUEPT is unacceptable).
Step 2
Submit all required documents through the online form here: https://bit.ly/aims2022submission (applicants must login with BINUS email) by 11 November 2022. Late submission will not be considered.
Step 3
BINUS International Office will assess your application. Please be advised that incomplete application will not be considered. If you pass BINUS internal selection, BINUS International Office will nominate you to the Selection Team of Keimyung University.

| Is this program mandatory? | No. It is optional. |
| If I fulfill all the requirements applied by BINUS University and AIMS, is it confirmed I will be granted the scholarship? | There is no specific quota for BINUS University. You will be competing with all applicants from BINUS University (ID), Universitas Kristen Maranatha (ID), Thammasat University (TH), Ateneo de Manila University (PH), and St. La Salle University (PH).
Submit your application as soon as possible to avoid any technical difficulties. Most applicants tend to submit their applications on the last day of application period. This may cause you trouble to access the online platform. |
| About Enrichment Program | |
| Where should I find the information about my Enrichment Program? | Go to https://curriculum.binus.ac.id, choose the suitable program/department, find Catalogue. |
| If I am not granted the scholarship, can I change the Enrichment track? | If you are registered in other track (non-Study Abroad):
– Before applying to AIMS scholarship program, you must consult with your EPC (Enrichment Program Coordinator) if it is possible to change the Enrichment Track; and – after you are selected as AIMS scholar, please change your enrichment track into Study Abroad
If you are already registered in Study Abroad Track and you are selected as AIMS scholar, please coordinate with BINUS IO to change your host university. |
