#AussieBanget: Australia & Indonesia: Stronger Together

Ms. Frances Adamson, Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade Development of Australia held “Australia and Indonesia: Stronger Together” seminar at #AussieBanget Corner last November. The Corner was inaugurated last March at the Library of BINUS UNIVERSIRTY Anggrek Campus as a chain of local university embedded centers.

Mr Ir. Bernard Gunawan as CEO of Bina Nusantara Group and invited guests from the Australian Embassy attended the event. The visit highlighted the strategic bilateral relations between the two countries that are well-connected in terms of, security, economy and trade. One of the sectors that contribute greatly to the relation between the two countries is the education sector. Currently, BINUS UNIVERSITY is partnering with 10 prestigious Australian Universities for exchange of students and faculty, also working together to conduct joint research.

Through this event, BINUS UNIVERSITY has proven that International collaboration leads to a better quality of education and showed that BINUS UNIVERSITY is a good partner in education and diplomacy. Such partnerships are vital to innovation carrying the countries forward.
