BINUS UNIVERSITY and Appalachian State University Establish Cooperational Partnership
Towards the vision of “A world-class university, in continuous pursuit of innovation and enterprise”, BINUS UNIVERSITY continues to provide opportunities for students to gain international experience. One possible avenue to reach that goal is through a student exchange program with international partner universities. Building in that spirit, BINUS UNIVERSITY and Appalachian State University, USA, agreed to develop a student exchange program cooperation. This collaboration is created specifically for Global Class Program to accommodate the interest of student for a placement in the USA as well as developing BINUS’ network in the country.
Under this agreement, students from both universities will have a chance to do exchange for 1 or 2 semesters in the host university. Certainly, this will be a good opportunity for students to gain international exposure and learn more from students in the host country.
Appalachian State University is a public university which was initially founded in 1899 as Watauga Academy with the mission of educating teachers from the region. Known for its value and affordability, Appalachian State University offers a challenging academic environment, energetic campus life and breathtaking location. The university has various undergraduate degree programs spread in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, and Fine and Applied Arts, and the School of Music.
