BINUS UNIVERSITY and VIT University Signed Agreement for Academic Cooperation

BINUS UNIVERSITY is pleased to announce the signing of agreement with VIT University, India. Based on the agreement, BINUS UNIVERSITY and VIT University will cooperate to explore academic activities, particularly student mobility and faculty exchange between the two universities. This exchange opportunity is established mainly for Engineering, Business, Computer Science and Information Systems related programs from both institutions.

Vellore Institute of Technology, usually known as VIT University, is one of the top private universities in India offering quality higher education on par with international standards. Founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College, its engineering programs have been recognized and accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET Inc) of USA. In addition, VIT became the first university in India to receive accreditation from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Energy Institute, United Kingdom in 2004. VIT University also obtained the highest possible grade of "A" from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for all the programs offered by the University in January 2009. It has campuses both at Vellore and Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
