Integrated Study Abroad and Graduate Scholarship Program

The Science & Engineering Scholarship Program (SESP) at Hanyang University Erica Campus (HYU Erica) provides exceptional opportunities for international students, including BINUS students, to study abroad and pursue an integrated Master’s and Ph.D. pathway in various scientific and engineering fields. Designed to cultivate world-class scholars, this prestigious scholarship allows recipients to spend one year as undergraduate exchange students at HYU Erica before seamlessly transitioning into graduate studies. Throughout the program, scholars will benefit from a monthly stipend to support their academic and research endeavors.

SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE

• Tuition Fees: Waived at HYU Erica during the undergraduate study abroad program; however, students remain responsible for BP3 & SKS fees at BINUS University.
• Graduate Tuition: Fully covered at HYU Erica.
• Living Allowance: Provided throughout the entire program.

SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be an active BINUS University student and eligible for the study abroad program during the enrichment semesters.
• Must NOT hold South Korean citizenship, and both parents must be non-Korean citizens.
• Must commit to completing the study abroad program and the integrated graduate program at HYU Erica.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 (out of 4.0).
• Must demonstrate adequate English proficiency with a minimum score of:
  • IELTS 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT 80
  • TOEFL ITP 550
    (BUEPT/BIEPT, BeeLingua, other English proficiency certificates, or expired test scores are not accepted.)
• Must be able to complete their thesis on time. Special arrangements may be made to expedite the issuance of degree certificates to support graduate admission at HYU Erica.
• Must be capable of producing publications or research achievements during the graduate program at HYU Erica.
