BINUS University Honored with Five Prestigious Awards at the 2024 Diktisaintek Awards
Jakarta, 16 December— BINUS University once again demonstrated its commitment to delivering top-quality education by earning five prestigious awards at the 2024 Diktisaintek Awards. This prestigious ceremony, held on Friday, December 13, 2024, by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, honored remarkable achievements and contributions from Indonesia’s higher education institutions.
The awards we received underscore our leadership in education, institutional development, and collaborative partnerships. We are honored to receive three Gold Winner titles: one for the highest recommendation for new program openings in 2024 in the Institutional Award category, another for Best Performance Data Reporting among private universities with 30,000 or more students in the Pelaporan Data Pangkalan Data Pendidikan Tinggi (PDDIKTI) Award category, and a third for our exceptional global engagement, acknowledged as the Best International Collaboration among Higher Education Institutions.
Alongside our other accolades, we also received recognition for Learning and Student Affairs, specifically for the Best Independent Implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program and awarded the Bronze Winner in the Collaboration Award category for the Best Industry Collaboration among Higher Education Institutions.
Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M., CSCA, the Rector of BINUS University along with Dr. Rini Setiowati, S.E., M.B.A., our Vice-Rector for Collaboration & Global Engagement, were honored to receive these five awards.
Dr. Nelly conveyed her gratitude for these achievements, saying, “These awards are a tribute to entire Binusian community. BINUS University is committed to delivering the best education quality and services for everyone, made possible by the dedication, teamwork, and support from all the stakeholders.”
During the Diktisaintek Awards 2024, over 300 awards were given to public and private universities, Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDikti), university partners from the business and industrial sectors, government ministries and agencies, and journalists and media representatives.
Prof. Ir. Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro, M.Sc., Ph.D., the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, conveyed his appreciation for all award recipients, emphasizing, “These awards are a testament to our commitment to honoring the hard work of all higher education institutions in achieving educational transformation in Indonesia. All these efforts can only be successful through collaboration and synergy between the government, universities, stakeholders, and the media to reinforce this ecosystem.”
Lastly, these awards signify BINUS University’s commitment as a world-class Indonesian university to delivering the best learning experiences and highligting the collective efforts of all Binusians in academic excellence, research, innovation, and international collaboration.
