IISMA Co-Funding 2024

IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards) Co-Funding is part of the Kampus Merdeka Program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek), using a partial funding scheme between the government and the student to allow greater opportunity for Indonesians to study for a semester at the best universities around the world. The Co-Funding scheme of the IISMA Program was initiated due to the significant increase in enthusiasm among the students, their home institutions, and the IISMA partner institutions abroad.

As part of Kampus Merdeka, initiated by Kemdikbudristek, undergraduate students from all Indonesian higher education institutions under DIKTI can study abroad.

REQUIREMENTS

• Enroll as an active BINUS University student taking an undergraduate degree and never taking semester leave(s) during the university studies
• In semester 3/4 (B26) or semester 5/6 (B25) during the application period
• Must be able to take the enrichment semester for Odd Semester 2024/2025, shown by mobility proposal signed and approved by the Head of Department/Program or relevant authorities
• Must be an Indonesian citizen (WNI) residing in Indonesia and do not hold dual citizenship
  • In case the students are born from a mixed marriage, they must have a copy of Surat Keputusan (Decision Letter of Citizenship) issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights, which states that the student has chosen Indonesia as their nationality
• Be a maximum of 24 years old on 1 July 2024 (applicants born on or before 30 June 2000 are not eligible to apply)
• Have a cumulative GPA of a minimum of 3.0 (out of 4.0), proven by the latest academic transcript
• Have adequate English proficiency* with a minimum score of IELTS –6.0, TOEFL iBT –78, Duolingo English Test –100 to IISMA’s official institutional code of respective English test
  • The BUEPT/BIEPT, TOEFL ITP, or other English proficiency certificates are unacceptable.
  • If the host university requires a higher level of English proficiency and/or GPA, applicants must meet that requirement to continue their application
  • The test results should have been announced after 15 August 2022
• Not receiving a living allowance from other funding/scholarship from the Kemendikbudristek and LPDP during the IISMA Program
• Not participating in other Kampus Merdeka programs at the same time as the IISMA Program
• Not have participated in more than one (1) Kampus Merdeka Program before the IISMA Program
• Never have violated the rules, norms, and/or laws applied in Indonesia
• Be willing to follow the rules and regulations while participating in IISMA
• Received approval from the Head of the Program/Department
• Have a recommendation letter from the BINUS Internationalization Office (formerly known as BINUS International Office)

HOW TO APPLY

• Step 1: to BINUS (4 – 14 April 2024)
  • Read 2024 BINUS X IISMA Co-Funding (link will be updated soon)
  • Fill out the 2024 BINUS X IISMA Co-Funding Mobility Proposal for BINUS Applicants only and have it signed by the Head/Deputy Head of the Program/Department
  • Fill out the 2024 BINUS X IISMA Co-Funding Statement Letter, have it signed by yourself and your parent/guardian, and merge it with the Family Registry (Kartu Keluarga)
  • Fill out the 2024 BINUS X IISMA Co-Funding Partial Funding Agreement and have it signed by your parents and/or by your guardian & parent, then merge it with the Family Registry (Kartu Keluarga)
  • Fill out the 2023 BINUS X IISMA Recommendation Request Form at iMobilio by 15 April 2024 at 23:59 WIB. You’ll need to upload the supporting documents mentioned above.
• Step 2: to Kemdikbudristek (2 – 22 April 2024 at 23:59 WIB)
  • If you are granted the Recommendation Letters, you must apply for the awards by completing an online application here: https://iisma.kemdikbud.go.id/portal/login by 22 April 2024
