Things to Know During your Travel and Arrival
Have you got your e-visa already? Congratulations! You are now able to travel to Indonesia! Don’t forget to depart before your e-visa expiry.
Which airport you need to choose?
If you are studying at our Jakarta campus (BINUS @Senayan for BINUS International Programs, BINUS @Anggrek, BINUS @Bekasi, BINUS @Alsut for regular programs, BINUS @Alsut for Global Class programs), you can set your arrival for Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK). You can book a free airport pick-up service (from Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK) only available from Monday – Friday, office hours) if you are staying at BINUS Square Hall of Residences (BSQ), starting 1 month before your planned arrival. Our iBuddies and the international office team will also be available to pick you up at the airport.
Please confirm your flight details and pick-up arrangement max. 7 work days from your planned arrival date.

When you arrive at the airport,
- You will be directed to immigration clearance, health checking, and pass custom clearance. Present your e-visa, study permit, and offer letter from BINUS, Covid-19 PCR negative test result, and also your Covid-19 vaccination certificate. Refer to our What to Bring guide here.
- Make sure you have downloaded PeduliLindungi Apps, created an account, and filled your e-Hac starting 1 day before you arrived since the airport controller will require you to show your e-Hac. If you bring nothing to be cleared for custom, you are free to continue your journey. Welcome to Indonesia!
- You might want to get your Indonesia sim-card, register your phone’s IMEI to activate your sim-card, and get some IDR while you are still at the airport.
