Scholarship Requirements

BINUS World Class Scholarship rewards international students at undergraduate and graduate levels demonstrating academic excellence and leadership skills.
Availability:
  • Undergraduate Program
    • BINUS International (BI)
    • BINUS Northumbria School of Design (BNSD)​
  • Graduate Program
    • Master of Management (MM) Professional only

Coverage:

  • 100% tuition waiver for Designated Study Program at BINUS​
    1. 4 Years for Undergraduate – includes 4+0 Program​
    2. 1.5 Years for Graduate​
  • Accommodation at BINUS Square (BSQ) – Hall of Residence​
    1. Standard Double Room for Undergraduate​
    2. Single Standard Room for Graduate​
  • Free shuttle bus service​
  • Health benefit​
  • Visa and stay permit refund benefit (VITAS/KITAS only)

Scholarship Eligibility:

Undergraduate​

  • High school graduate – Final Exam with GPA 3.2 out of 4.0 (80%)​
  • A level certificate (ABB) / IB Diploma (34 Points)​
  • IELTS 6.5 (min. score 5.5 for the writing test) or equivalent

Graduate​

  • University graduate​ – GPA 3.2 out of 4.0 (80%)​
  • 2 years of minimum of working experience​ (If Available)
  • IELTS 6.5 (min. score 5.5 for the writing test) or equivalent

Required Documentation

Besides documents required in the  BINUS Online Admission System, please also submit the following documents to global@binus.edu:

  1. Scanned TOEFL or IELTS score certificate (or other English Proficiency Tests) obtained within the last 2 years
  2. CV – Curriculum Vitae.
  3. Motivation letter – explaining why you are interested in joining BINUS University and why you are the best candidate.
  4. Proof of financial competency beyond scholarship (official letter from the bank confirming a minimum balance of USD 4,500 in applicant’s account).
  5. 2 recommendation letters (from teachers/employers/community leaders).
  6. Proof of achievements (academic/non-academic and/or related work experience).
  7. Research Experience (if available)
