BINUS UNIVERSITY @Bandung Sparks Creativity Through Jakarta Doodle Fest 2025 School Roadshow

Bandung, 24 September – Our Bandung student site gained a rare firsthand experience from Aditya Permadi, Designer at Subjekt Zero GFX Studio on his expertise in robotic design and the world of visual storytelling as part of the School Roadshow of the Jakarta Doodle Fest (JDF) 2025 in collaboration with PT Indonesia Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk.
The roadshow aims to inspire students with practical skills in art development, branding, and visual arts, guided directly by visual artists and creative professionals, while providing an engaging environment to exchange creative ideas.

“Our students can experience firsthand how classroom knowledge is applied in real industry practices. It benefits both students and industry, and they (students) gain opportunities to express their creativity, while industries benefit from access to promising talent. I hope that initiatives like this will continue to strengthen ties between higher education and industry,” shared Dr. Johan Muliadi Kerta, S.Kom., M.M., BINUS @Bandung Campus Director.
During the program, students were also allowed to develop their own designs, with the best selected piece set to be produced as official merchandise and showcased at the Tolak Angin booth during the main event of JDF 2025 at Senayan City, 9-12 October 2025.

“Listening to practitioners share their journeys really inspired me. It showed me that when we focus on something we love, it can grow into a lasting career. As a Visual Communication Design student, I feel more assured about following a clear professional path in this field, just like our mentors,” said Imanuela.
Over 100 students attended the event, exceeding the expectations of Jakarta Doodle Fest Co-Founder, Siti Fatimah. With mentorship, interactive workshops, and real-world experience, students are empowered to bring their visions to life through their artworks. This initiative paves the way for future collaborations that nurture young talents into skilled and creative professionals.

“BINUS University welcomed us warmly from the very beginning, and seeing students encouraged to explore creative collaborations with brands at such an early stage is truly inspiring. We’re pleased that we connect directly with the students and look forward to expanding this collaboration in the future,” shared Siti, reflecting on her experience at BINUS @Bandung campus.
Finally, this partnership shows how collaboration can drive growth—for both students and the creative industry. By creating an environment where ideas meet opportunity, the program lays a solid foundation for a vibrant creative community, making sure that young talents are not only inspired but also equipped to make a meaningful impact as they foster and empower society.
