Imagine Indonesia 2026 Developing Future-Ready Skills through International Virtual Student Mobility Program
BINUS University is pleased to present Imagine Indonesia 2026, an International Virtual Student Mobility (iVSM) Program that connects all international students to learn, collaborate, and prepare for the future workforce.
Under the theme “Future-Ready Youth: Skills for a Changing World,” the program will be held from 13–17 July 2026 and will feature expert talks, interactive discussions, global team collaboration, project development, and video pitching. As part of the program, participants will also gain insights into Indonesia’s industry, innovation, and youth development initiatives, offering a broader perspective on how education, collaboration, and creativity can support future readiness.
By joining Imagine Indonesia 2026, participants will work with peers from different countries to exchange perspectives, identify real-world challenges, develop solution-oriented recommendations, and present ideas in a final showcase. Through this experience, students will gain valuable benefits, including the opportunity to expand their international network, strengthen practical skills, and prepare for future professional journeys.
Day 1 | Future-Ready Youth in a Changing World Monday, 13 July 2026 13:00-15:00 WIB (UTC+7)
Start your Imagine Indonesia 2026 journey with inspiring sessions featuring an industry professional and alumni speakers. Through interactive sharing and discussion, participants will gain fresh perspectives on the skills, mindset, and adaptability needed to thrive in today’s global environment. The day will continue with international networking and group formation, helping students connect with peers from different countries while strengthening their global awareness, communication, and networking skills.
Day 2 | Preparing for the Future Workforce Tuesday, 14 July 2026 13:00-15:00 WIB (UTC+7)
On the second day, participants will explore the skills and mindset needed to prepare for the future workforce. Through an expert talk by a BINUS academic and an introduction to the group challenge, they will gain a clearer understanding of future career skills while practicing critical thinking and developing problem-solving skills.
Day 3 | Global Team Collaboration Wednesday, 15 July 2026 (Self-Guided Session)
The third day will focus on cross-cultural collaboration, where participants will discuss future skills needs from the perspective of their own countries. Through group discussion, students will exchange ideas, identify a shared challenge, and begin developing recommendations that reflect diverse regional insights.
Day 4 | Project Development & Pitch Video Submission Thursday, 16 July 2026 (Self-Guided Session)
On the fourth day, participants will move from discussion to action by developing their project ideas into clear solutions or recommendations. Each group will create and submit a 3-minute pitch video to showcase their ideas, while building creativity, problem-solving, project management, and digital communication skills.
Day 5 | Future-Ready Youth Showcase Friday, 17 July 2026 13:00-15:00 WIB (UTC+7)
The last day will bring participants’ ideas to the final stage through a project showcase. Selected teams will present their pitch videos and receive comments from the judging panel. The program will close with a reflection session and official closing ceremony.
