BINUS UNIVERSITY’s Commitment to Proactive Safety and Student Well-Being
Jakarta, 1 September – In light of the recent developments and demonstrations that took place in Jakarta from August 25, BINUS University has taken proactive and comprehensive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our entire community. We are working closely with local authorities to monitor the situation and provide a secure environment.
Several measures have been put in place to minimize any potential disruption to our activities:
- All onsite student programs scheduled for 1-4 September 2025 have been shifted to online mode.
- Resources and support for our international students will continue as normally as possible through our online communication channels.
- Intensive coordination with local security authorities to stay informed and receive timely updates on the latest situation.
- Heightened security measures on all BINUS University premises (campus and accommodation).
This commitment is demonstrated through our diligent implementation of safety protocols, intensive coordination with local authorities, and responsive support systems to ensure a secure and thriving campus life for all.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. We maintain open and transparent communication to address and discuss any concerns you may have.
Do not hesitate to reach our Internationalization Office team, Ms. Debby Lubis, at dlubis@binus.edu for further information.
