Expanding Global Horizons through Study Abroad Fair: Passport to the World

Jakarta, May–June 2025 — In a continued effort to strengthen global engagement and empower future-ready graduates, BINUS University successfully hosted the Study Abroad Fair: Passport to the World across multiple campuses and virtual platforms throughout May and June 2025.
The fair was designed as part of BINUS’ strategic initiative to maximize outbound student mobility. This event created a vibrant space for peer-to-peer exchange and inspiration by connecting students directly with members of the BINUS STAR Network, students who have previously studied abroad. Not only does BINUS optimize these resources, but it also aims to enhance reciprocal mobility and leverage its expanding network of bilateral cooperation agreements with institutions worldwide.
Held at various BINUS campuses, the fair offered students valuable insights into studying abroad, academic planning, and options for study abroad destinations. It offered firsthand experiences from fellow BINUS STARs who have completed their global academic journeys. A special virtual session for parents also helped clarify the benefits, preparation steps, and expectations of studying abroad, ensuring families are engaged and informed. By connecting students directly with experienced peers and faculty, the fair empowered them to make well-informed decisions about their international academic paths. The event underscored BINUS University’s vision of building a world-class community of lifelong learners and nurturing graduates with global competencies.
As BINUS continues to support internationalization, the Study Abroad Fair serves as a key platform to ignite aspirations, foster global citizenship, and open doors to impactful international experiences.
