BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES

BINUS University has vision and mission of fostering and empowering the society to build and serve the nation that can also contribute in global community development. The Project Initiative 2024, with the core theme “Collaborate Strengthen Binusian’s capacity and capabilities for national and international recognitions”, is one of the means to fulfil the vision and mission. This Green Campus Initiative Joint Workshop is one of the Project Initiative 2024 implementations.

Specifically, this program brings Sustainable Development Goals theme focusing on building resilient infrastructure, creating inclusive human settlements, and strengthening the means of Global Partnership (UN SDGs 9, 11, 17).

The program comprises of academic collaboration with both national and international institutions. In the national scope, the collaboration is targeted with NUNI partner institutions; while in international scope, it is targeted with QS Top 200 universities.

The participants of the program are expected to understand the environmental conditions in improving community well-being, especially in campus area. These can be actualized in the form of productive academic cooperation, national/ international ranking increment, and building research network/ academics community in global level.
