BINUS UNIVERSITY Shines in QS WUR 2025, Ranks Among Indonesia’s Top 10

Jakarta, 5 June 2024 – BINUS University has made a significant achievement by securing a position in the rank #951-1000 globally and among the top 10 universities in Indonesia in the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS WUR) 2025. BINUS is also the only university currently holding the prestigious title of 5-star among selected universities in Indonesia. 

This year’s ranking is the largest ever, featuring over 1,500 universities across 105 higher education systems. The extensive scope of this year’s QS WUR highlights the growing competition and the high standards of global education. 

In 2025, the QS WUR assessment underwent its most comprehensive refinement yet, introducing three new measurement metrics: Sustainability (5%), Employment Outcomes (5%), and International Research Network (5%). These are in addition to the already rigorous metrics: Academic Reputation (30%), Employer Reputation (15%), Faculty-Student Ratio (10%), Citations per Faculty (20%), International Faculty (5%), and International Students (5%).
