UCAM’s Young Academic Thrives in Teaching Mobility at BINUS University
Jakarta, 5 April 2024 – We were excited for M. Jose Ayala as the Assistant Lecturer and Academic Coordinator from Universidad CatÓlica de Murcia (UCAM) in Spain who did the ERASMUS+ teaching mobility program at our university from 1- 4 April 2024.
Jose’s choice to participate in the program at our campus was motivated by her colleague’s recommendation. She was excited to immerse herself in all academic activities here, drawn by its renowned reputation and warm hospitality.
During her tenure, she collaborated with our Head of Accounting Technology Program, Linda Kusumaning Wedari, S.E., M.Si., Ph..D., CA, CLI, CSRA, CertDA on financial management and sustainability performance in Spanish Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) workshop.
The visit couldn’t have been more exciting, as our team took Jose to a modern market in the Bumi Serpong Damai neighbourhood, a 45-minute trip from the capital that helped enrich their knowledge of non-recyclable plastic bags.
Additionally, she participated in vibrant research discussions with several of our prominent faculty members who have expertise in accounting and finance at our campuses in Alam Sutera and Kemanggisan. These discussions not only facilitated knowledge transfer but also paved the way for potential joint research projects and webinars featuring guest lectures!
Thank you, Jose, for the visit to our campus and we hope that you enjoyed the hospitality. Not only that this partnership holds the promise of engaging for impact through collaborative efforts in tackling issues like sustainability and research advancement.
