BINUS STAR Homecoming: Reflecting on a Semester of Global Learning and Growth

Jakarta, 15 March 2024 — We welcomed our esteemed BINUS Student Transnational Ambassadors (BINUS STAR) to mark the conclusion of their study abroad experience, during which 109 students embarked on academic journeys across 57 host institutions in 14 countries worldwide!

Our STARs had the chance to share their insight and reflect on their experience during the Focus Group Discussion. This is very useful for the University to ensure we can provide the best experience for the upcoming cohort.

The Vice-Rector for Collaboration & Global Engagement, Prof. Dr. Tirta Nugraha Mursitama, Ph.D., gave his warm greetings with focus on highlighting the meaningful reunion and global engagement through cross-cultural experiences that can help to shape their leadership qualities. In addition, Fredy Jingga, S.Kom., MMSI., Head of Internationalization & Partnership Program, School of Information Systems, extended heartfelt greetings on behalf of the faculty, emphasizing the importance of reflection and growth in the study abroad journey.

“Your experiences abroad have broadened your academic horizons and enriched our university community. You may carry the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the cherished memories as you return home. Welcome back, BINUS STARs,” said Prof. Dr. Tirta Nugraha Mursitama, Ph.D.
