IISMA Sharing Session 2024

Jakarta, 31 January – To kick off the year, the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) Sharing Session: 2024 – Be Prepared for the Future with IISMA-Alumni Club is back, inviting students from all over the archipelago to explore the opportunity of studying abroad in world-class institutions at BINUS University@ Anggrek Campus on Saturday, 27th January 2024.

The team visited our university along with the IISMA Alumni Club (AC), along with our program alumni to share practical tips for increasing your chances of being part of the program and making the most of it.

“The most crucial aspect of the admission process is showcasing your best self. Choose one and make every effort to convince the committee that you are the candidate they are seeking,” advised Samara Izatia Tabitha, who earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communication at BINUS University and participated in the IISMA program, studying at Michigan State University.

BINUS University has proudly sent more than 80 students since the program’s inception in 2021, a significant achievement that underscores the quality of our students.

Internationalization has been a central focus of our university, ensuring comprehensive development for our students and other community members. Through global partnerships, we seek opportunities that continually support this mission.

“You can continue to make an impact even after the program concludes,” emphasized Enrique Owen, the President of IISMA AC, who pursued studies at Universitas Gadjah Mada and went to the the University of Pennsylvania as part of this IISMA.
