Enhancing the Quality of Indonesian IT’s Professionals through “5th NUNI IT Online Seminar”
Jakarta, October 6th, 2023 – The webinar by the Nusantara University Network (NUNI) “NUNI IT Online Seminar Phase #5” serve as a platform for discussion and learning for students and IT professionals in Indonesia.
In this event, BINUS University, together with seven NUNI partner universities, namely Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University, Islamic University of Indonesia, Soegijapranata Catholic University, Maranatha Christian University, Muhammadiyah University of Malang, and Surabaya University, engaged more than 3,900 participants to expand their professional networks and interact with experts and industries through 33 online sessions covering various aspects of the Information Technology (IT) world, including software development, network security, data analysis, and the latest industry trends.
In one of the webinar sessions, YB Dwi Setianto, S.T., M.Cs, a lecturer from Soegijapranata Catholic University revealed about AI which is currently a hot topic of conversation in society.
“AI cannot replace humans. However, AI will coexist with humans,” said YB Dwi Setianto, S.T., M.Cs.
“I know more about databases with the MySQL application, after attending a session entitled Making and Translating from ERD to SQL Table,” said Nova Diella Ebygael Pakpahan, one of participant from BINUS University.
Considering that this is one of NUNI’s flagship programs, the NUNI Secretariat Office also hopes that more other NUNI member universities will participate in the next phase to provide a wider variety of topics from the speakers.
This activity is proof of NUNI’s commitment to improving the quality of IT professionals as well as individuals from another field can experience the impact.
