BINUS UNIVERSITY Ranked Best Private University in Indonesia by QS World University Rankings 2021
Quacquarelli Symonds, specializing in analysis and ranking of higher education institutions globally, released the QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2021 based on the results carried out on more than 5,500 universities from around the world.
This year, BINUS UNIVERSITY was again ranked 801-1,000 in the QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2021. BINUS UNIVERSITY was one of the 8 universities in Indonesia that entered QS WUR 2021 and is ranked 7th. BINUS UNIVERSITY is also the only tertiary institution in Indonesia which currently holds the QS 4-Star title in Indonesia. Both the Computer Science and Information Systems programs at BINUS UNIVERSITY are also ranked in the top 500 of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020.
This assessment is based on 6 indicators, namely: Academic Reputation (40%) – measures the overall academic quality, Employer Reputation (10%) – measures the quality of graduates from the perspective of the industry as employers of graduates, Faculty/Student Ratio (20%) – measures the quality of teaching and learning activities at tertiary institutions, Citations per Faculty (20%) – measures the quality of research at tertiary institutions, International Faculty Ratio (5%) – measures the ratio of foreign educators at tertiary institutions, and International Students Ratio (5%) – measures the student ratio of foreigners at universities.
