Students from Ritsumeikan University visit BINUS and participate in International Relations Public Lecture
A group of international students from Ritsumeikan University, Japan paid a visit to BINUS UNIVERSITY on Monday, August 31, 2015. Accompanied by Ms. Tomomi Izawa, Assistant Professor of College of International Relations, the students took part in a lecture session conducted by Department of International Relations BINUS UNIVERSITY.
Split into two sessions, the first lecture discussed topic “Understanding Indonesian Politics 1945 – 2015” which was presented by Geradi Yudhistira, faculty member of International Relations. Geradi talked about the historical journey of Indonesian politics wave since the country gained its independence until today. Later on, Johanes Herlijanto delivered the next session which focuses on Chinese Ethnic in Indonesia.
Throughout the lecture, the students were given the opportunity to participate through voicing questions and sharing their opinions about the topics. The visit was concluded with a discussion between the students from both universities in a knowledge sharing session.
