BINUS UNIVERSITY Signs Student Exchange Agreement with Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City
BINUS UNIVERSITY has signed a collaboration agreement with Internatioanl Education Institute, Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam that will create new opportunities for student and faculty at both institutions.
The agreement will see the two universities develop student mobility programs as well as promote cooperation in academic activities. Signed by Vice Rector of Global Employability and Entrepreneurship BINUS UNIVERSITY, Dr. Boto Simatupang, and Executive Director of International Education Institute, Vietnam National University, Dr. Truong Quang Duoc, the agreement was made official earlier last week.
Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), in addition to its counterpart in Hanoi, is regarded as two most crucial universities in Vietnam with top quality in studying and diversity in courses. It was founded in 1995 by merging a number of prestigious universities in Ho Chi Minh City, and then re-organized again in 2001. The University is currently comprised of five member universities, one research institute, two faculties and a number of centers. These include: University of Technology, University of Science, University of Social Science and Humanities, International University, University of Information Technology, Institute for Environment and Resources, University of Economics and Laws, Faculty of Medicine, Center for Education Testing and Quality Assessment Center of French Universities. Its International Education Institute is a merger of its three educational centers: Centre for International Education, Foreign Language Centre and Centre for Human Resource Development
