BINUS UNIVERSITY Hosts Book Launch

BINUS UNIVERSITY in cooperation with the Embassy of Australia hosted a book launching ceremony at its Anggrek campus on 25th April 2018 in Jakarta. The book entitled, ‘Neng Koala – Kisah-Kisah Mahasiswi Indonesia di Australia’ was written as a collaborative effort by a community of Indonesian women who graduated from Australian universities and illustrated their unique experiences as students in the country.

In addition to the book launch, the event also featured a panel discussion with the theme, ‘Women and Higher Education’, which discussed the role of women in advancing the local higher education sector as well as the strategies needed to encourage more women to pursue their educational goals and positively impact Indonesian industries.

Through this event, BINUS UNIVERSITY highlighted its continuing partnership with the Australian Embassy to provide an encompassing range of international student facilities. As such, the university is keen to explore new opportunities for a broad range of initiatives from research to student exchange programmes with Australian educational and diplomatic institutions; helping prepare graduates for success within an era of unprecedented regional integration and globalisation.
