Yayasan Usaha Mulia
Yayasan Usaha Mulia (YUM) – Foundation for Noble Work is a non-for-profit organization, established in 1976, that works to improve the quality of life of the poor and destitute in Indonesia. Indonesia has seen widespread development, but with the fourth largest population in the world, there are still many areas where there is a severe lack of proper health, education and community services. Millions of families continue to live below the poverty line, surviving on less than two dollars a day. YUM has worked for more than four decades in this vast archipelago to support communities, to give them hope and a way out of the cycle of poverty.
Our years of experience working in Indonesia has led to a deep understanding of the needs of these communities and helped us build strong relationships with the people we serve as well as our partners and institutions. Currently, YUM operates a range of Health, Education and Community Development projects in the regions of West Java and Central Kalimantan.
