BINUS UNIVERSITY Calls for Papers for ICGGAG Conference
From 14th-15th November 2017, BINUS UNIVERSITY is set to hold the second International Conference on Game, Game Art and Gamification (ICGGAG) which will be held at its FX Sudirman campus in Jakarta. The conferences bring together researchers, scientists, game designers, and students to discuss and demonstrate the different aspects of this sector. BINUS UNIVERSITY, therefore, encourages participants to submit research papers in the sphere of game, and gamification. The deadline for paper submissions will be 15th July 2017.
The ICGGAG conference will focus on a wide range of topics from Games for Business, Games for Education, Augmented Reality, and Game Art among many others. All accepted publications will be uploaded onto IEEE Xplore and SCOPUS; two renowned digital libraries that cater towards scientific content. Furthermore, the conference is set to feature Mr Scot Osterweil, as the Creative Director of the Education Arcade and Research Director at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Comparative Media Studies Writing Programme, and Mr Daniel Min as the President Director of Sungho IPO. Mr Osterweil and Mr Min will provide their invaluable insights into educational games and their effects on both the academic and commercial environment.
Through its ICGGAG conference, BINUS UNIVERSITY hopes to educate and inspire its students to develop the necessary technical skills to advance Indonesia’s gaming and IT industry. With an increasingly tech-savvy population, there will be rising demand for adept gaming technology experts that can effectively apply their skills to a variety of industries.
