Medan, 8 August – Medan’s vibrant youth, dynamic creative scene, and robust business networks position it as a fertile ground for digital innovation. The recent establishment of BINUS University in Medan holds the potential to capitalize on these strengths by forming strategic local partnerships, thereby fostering an environment conducive to technological advancement and economic growth 

Currently, BINUS University has collaborated with over 450 renowned universities worldwide and 5,000 reputable companies to facilitate innovative research, develop industry-ready talent, and drive digital transformation within the region. However, the new site will propel our ambition to reach even further within Medan and beyond.

“Through our vision of becoming the Home of the Global DigitalPreneur Generation, we aim to prepare graduates who thrive globally while staying grounded in local identity,” said Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M., Rector of BINUS University. 

By integrating relevant curriculum with international exposure and industry experience, BINUS University @Medan is set to transform Sumatra into a vibrant hub for digital talent development. More importantly, it embodies our long-term mission to cultivate a generation of Global DigitalPreneurs, who not only excel in technology, business, and creative innovation but also possess the entrepreneurial mindset and global perspective needed to compete on the world stage.

Internationalization reflects our dedication to ensuring that students at BINUS University can enhance their education through various programs designed to broaden their global perspectives. From workshops and internships to study abroad opportunities, students at the Medan campus and other locations across the archipelago can participate in a wide range of activities.

The youth potential in this region is what we want to capitalize on as the next agent of change in the digital,” as mentioned by Stephen Wahyudi Santoso, President of BINUS Higher Education & Professional Services.
