BINUS – University of Canberra Dual Degree Program

BINUS UNIVERSITY offers a Dual Degree program in collaboration with the esteemed University of Canberra, Australia. This will provide you with Sarjana Ilmu Komunikasi (S.I.Kom) from BINUS UNIVERSITY and Bachelor of Communication in Advertising from University of Canberra.

This program prepares you to be ready for the global employability and opportunities.

The scheme is 2+1.5+0.5 (4 semesters at BINUS + 3 semester articulation at UC + 1 semester at BINUS for undergraduate thesis writing)

The degree provides you to gain a thorough knowledge of marketing communications with a focus on advertising, strategic brand management, and media and client relationships. It also enables you to acquire essential skills for work both domestically and internationally explore how advertising works in the era of digital communication with integrated theoretical and practical activities.

Progressing to UC Double Degree, tuition fees shall be paid in Australian Dollar (AUD) to UC with the amount of $23,740 (the fee is subject to change and UC has the rights to increase its tuition fees in future academic years (for reference, please see the tuition fees on UC website: http://www.canberra.edu.au/future-students/courses/glossary/fees-and-contributions/domestic-postgraduate-tuition-fee-rates/pdf/UG-Coursework-Tuition-Fees-for-International-Students-2017.pdf )

UC will grant a partial scholarship to all BINUS students who articulate to UC Double Degree (the value of the scholarship will be 20% of the total tuition fees, covering only tuition fee and not to any other costs such as travel, accommodation or health cover)

Requirements: BINUS students successfully complete one semester of full-time study at UC.

• Must be registered as active BINUS students of Marketing Communication and Mass Communication and complete 2 years of study at BINUS
• Provide transcript of records
• Attain IELTS level of 6.00 overall with minimum 5.5 across all bands (students with lower IELTS grade will be required to complete ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) at UC before starting their program.
